The self-employed and business with Banco Sabadell

1. Return: 0% Nominal Interest Rate (NIR), 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR). The conditions of the Sabadell Negocios Plus Account will apply exclusively to new customers of Banco de Sabadell, S.A. who are self-employed, businesses, or SMEs identified with one of the NCAE codes set out in the promotion Terms, available at www.bancsabadell.com/bsnacional/en/legal-terms-and-conditions-for-campaigns-and-promotions/ and who activate the account between 1 April and 15 June 2025, both inclusive.

2. All POS terminals are products of Paycomet, S.L.U., a company of the Banco Sabadell Group. Paycomet safeguards the funds received by users by depositing them in a separate account opened with Banco de Sabadell, S.A.

3. Between 1 April and 15 June 2025 (both inclusive), self-employed customers, businesses, and SMEs in the Health and Wellness sector who contract a new POS terminal with a flat rate monthly fee will receive a promotion of 6 months free by waiving the monthly fee for the flat rate they must pay according to the selected tier based on their monthly turnover (tiers included: €1,000/month to €10,000/month). Any excess monthly turnover beyond the selected flat rate tier will be charged at a 1.10% discount rate on the amount of each transaction.

The promotion excludes customers who had a POS terminal activated as at 31 March 2025. The promotion excludes Virtual POS, Smart Dual Screen POS, and Smart Phone&Sell POS terminals. Transactions conducted with American Express are excluded from these prices and will not count in the contracted Flat Rate billing tranches as American Express cards have their own rates.

The beneficiary status will be lost in any of the following cases: (i) termination of the merchant or POS terminal; (ii) exceeding the 10% limit on the total monthly billing of international cards, (iii) changing the fee mode (lower flat rate tier or discount rate) within the first 12 months of the contract, or (iv) refund of any monthly fee. If the POS terminal is not maintained for 12 months with the flat rate fee from the contract period or higher, penalties will be applied corresponding to the contracted fee amount and the promotion period.

4. Subject to the terms, conditions, coverages, insured amounts, restrictions, and exclusions established in the general and specific terms (where applicable) of the policy.

Promotion of the insurers BanSabadell Vida and BanSabadell Seguros Generales applicable to self-employed customers (individuals and adults) and businesses (legal entities), in both cases with tax residence in Spain, for new contracts entered into between 1 April 2025 and 15 June 2025, both inclusive, for any of the following insurance products: Life Care, Life Care Premium, Premium Accident, SME Life Protection (BanSabadell Vida products) or Shop and Office Protection (a BanSabadell Seguros Generales product). The closing date for the policy coming into force is 31 August 2025. The insurance must be taken out with annual, semi-annual or quarterly payment terms.

The insurance must be current and up to date with payment to be entitled to the incentive. Promotion applicable exclusively to the first year of the insurance policy. The incentive amount will be equivalent to the following: 

-     For contracts with annual payment: the amount equivalent to 25% of the total premium paid in the first bill will be paid.

-     For contracts with semester payment: 50% of the total amount will be paid in the receipt of the first semester.

-     For contracts with quarterly payment: the total amount paid in the first quarterly bill will be paid.

A one-time deposit will be made via bank transfer by the promoting entity, BanSabadell Vida and/or BanSabadell Seguros Generales, within a period between 60 and 90 days from the date of payment of the first receipt, into the account used for the payment of the new insurance product(s) contracted. Being paid the incentive is considered a capital gain for the taxpayer in the Personal Income Tax or a benefit in Corporate Income Tax for the policyholder, and is not subject to withholding.

5. During the first 6 months of the Sabadell Business Account, the requirement established in the contract will not apply. From the 7th month onwards, you will only need to have your salary or regular monthly income for a minimum amount of €700 deposited directly into your account, excluding income from accounts opened in the Banco Sabadell Group in the name of the same account holder. If the requirement of a regular monthly income of €700 in the first two months is not met before the quarterly settlement, the Sabadell Negocios Account will automatically become a Relación Account.

8. During the first 6 months after opening the Sabadell Negocios Plus Account, the requirement stated in the contract will not apply. Starting from the seventh month, a minimum monthly deposit of €3,000 is required. This requirement must be met every month and, if not fulfilled for two consecutive months, the Sabadell Negocios Plus Account will automatically be converted into a Relación Account. Income from accounts opened in the Banco Sabadell group under the same account holder is excluded.

a No account management or maintenance fees. Pprofitability that may change depending on market conditions. Now, a profitability of 2% APR per annum for an average joint balance of up to €20,000 of the Sabadell Online Self-Employed Acount and the Sabadell Savings Accounts of the same account holders linked to it. Representative example of remuneration in one year calculated for a combined average monthly balance of €20,000: 2% NIR per annum, 2.018% APR, €400 in interest settled in the year. Settlement on a monthly basis and credited to the Sabadell Online Self-Employed Acount on the 15th day of the following month (or the first working day before it).

b Payment of €30/quarter for activating a Sabadell Self-employed Online Account for business purposes and having your contributions as a self-employed worker paid by direct debit during that period (includes the self-employed under the Special System for Self-Employed Agrarian Workers and the self-employed under the Special Scheme for Sea Workers).
