What is a debit card?
A debit card is a means of payment linked directly to your current account. It allows you to make purchases in stores and withdraw cash from ATMs, always using the money available in your account.

Do issue or maintenance fees apply to the debit card?
The debit card has no issue or maintenance fees for the main Banco Sabadell accounts: Check with the Bank which accounts are available that allow you to avail of a card without these fees, so you can choose the one that best meets your needs.

Can I start using my debit card to pay with my mobile before receiving the physical card?
Yes. You can pay for your purchases on your mobile phone from day one, before you receive the physical card, by registering you card with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay.

At which ATMs can I withdraw cash free of charge with my debit card?
You can withdraw cash by debiting your account free of charge at any of the more than 2,500 Banco Sabadell ATMs. Cash debit withdrawals are also free if you withdraw €60 or more at ATMs of the main institutions belonging to the EURO 6000 network, such as Abanca, Ibercaja, KutxaBank, Unicaja Banco, Caixa Ontinyent and Colonya Caixa Pollença.

What daily limits apply to my debit card for purchases and ATMs?
Your debit card limits can be managed through digital banking or the app.
 
If your card is linked to the Sabadell First Account and you are a minor, your legal representative can control and limit your transactions and balance from the app.

How can I take out a debit card for my underage child?
Minors aged between 14 and 17 can have a debit card linked to the Sabadell First Account. The application must be made by the legal representative (parent or guardian) at a branch, and they must be a Banco Sabadell customer. The card has no issue or maintenance fees.

What should I do if I lose my debit card or it is stolen?

You can manage your card and activate notifications from the app. If you lose your card or it is stolen, contact the bank immediately through its customer service channels to block it or get assistance.

Where can I find the security code or CVV of my debit card?
The CVV (or CVC) code is a three-digit number that is usually found on the back of your physical card.
