At Banco Sabadell we have activated a plan of support measures for families and businesses affected by the consequences of the flash flood, with which we want to offer effective and rapid help to deal with the devastating effects of the storm.

Approved measures we are carrying out
- Credit offered to individuals, the self-employed, businesses and retailers at 0% NIR for the first three months, and at 2.5% NIR for the remainder of the transaction (maximum 5 years), through the new Guarantee Lines of the Official Credit Institute (ICO). For example, for an ICO loan of €10,000 over 60 months, the customer will pay a single instalment at maturity of €11,205.56, which comprises €10,000 of principal and €1,205.56 of interest
- An account has been opened to help those affected by the flash floods, to which anyone who wants to help can send donations. Banco Sabadell has made a €3 million contribution to this account.
The number of the current account set up to make these contributions is: ES94 0081 0693 6100 0242 3445 or through Bizum at 10718.
I want to help - Mortgage payments on properties located in the municipalities affected by the flash floods and on loans, credits or leasing for the beneficiaries specified in Royal Decree Law 6/2024 who also reside or work in these municipalities have been suspended.
- Discount on POS fees for our self-employed and business customers in November and December 2024 and January 2025.
- The charity rounding app has been activated on SmartPOS terminal in shops.
- €15 million credit line extension for the Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca (Mutual Guarantee Society) so that it can help the affected companies in whatever they need.
- €100 million credit line extension available to the Autonomous Government of Valencia.
- Waiver of fees for debit cash withdrawals at ATMs in the province of Valencia until January 31.
- Fees on immediate transfers have been waived in the months of November and December 2024.
- Possibility for affected clients to exceptionally draw down part of the consolidated rights of their pension plans, in order to meet unforeseen liquidity needs.
- Two exclusive telephone numbers for affected customers, one for insurance and the other general, with preferential service, and two other lines to deal with customer queries about POS terminals.
- Easy access to banking services for the inhabitants of the affected areas (mobile branches, mobile ATMs and bus).
- Information Business HUB sessions as part of the special series of webinars for the self-employed and businesses affected by the flash floods. (
www.hubempresa.es ). - Two local centres have been set up in the affected area, where there are over twenty experts to assist families and companies. These two centres, located in Catarroja (Pol. Ind. Bony Calle 31, 109) and Torrent (Ramón y Cajal, 24), will provide services to individuals and fundamentally to SMEs, the self-employed and companies. A team of specialised managers will lend their support for all types of financial transactions and services, as well as offering help in processing Business Continuity aid for companies affected by the flash flood disaster.
