How much does Bizum cost?
Bizum is a free service included with the Banco Sabadell app.
What are its transaction limits?
You can send up to €500 in a single transaction, and up to €2,000 per day, not exceeding a cumulative monthly total of €5,000.
You can make online purchases of up to €1,500 in a single transaction and day, not exceeding a cumulative weekly and monthly total of €4,000.
Can I send a Bizum to another country?
Yes, provided that the bank account linked to the mobile phone number is from Spain or Andorra.
How do I request money from a contact via Bizum?
From the Banco Sabadell app, go to the menu and select the option “Request money”. Next, choose the contact you want to request money from or manually enter their mobile number if it is not saved in your address book. Once you have selected the contact, enter the amount and send the request.
Can I cancel a Bizum?
You can cancel the money transfer via Bizum if the recipient has not yet accepted your invitation to sign up. To do so, click on "Latest transactions" from the Bizum home screen and select the desired request in "Pending" status. Then click on the "Cancel request" option.

What requirements must I meet to activate Bizum?
To activate Bizum, you need to have a Banco Sabadell bank account. Then you must download the bank’s app and activate the Bizum option, which you will find on the application home page or in the section “Send Money”. If you still don’t have a bank account, you can open one online quickly and easily, with no fees, which will also let you use Bizum from your phone.
What do I need to send a Bizum to someone?
To send someone a Bizum, all you need is to access the service from the bank’s app and know the recipient’s mobile phone number, as the account number is not required. The person who you want to send money to must be signed up with Bizum. Once you select the contact, enter the amount you want to transfer and then confirm the transaction with your digital signature. The transfer of money is instantaneous and completely secure, as it is backed by the bank’s security systems.
