Banco Sabadell launches its new accessible cards in Braille
Committed to inclusion and accessibility, Banco Sabadell presents its new Braille cards, designed to facilitate the independence of visually impaired people in their daily banking transactions.
Braille cards
The new cards feature tactile and visual elements that make them easier for users to identify and use:
- Card number in Braille.
- Side notch to facilitate insertion into ATMs and card readers.
- High-contrast font and enlarged size.
- Card type identification using a letter in Braille: “D” (debit) and “C” (credit).
Banco Sabadell ATMs have been adapted for people with visual impairments and can be used without needing a Braille card. This feature is activated by connecting the customer's headphones to the ATM.
Remote or online support card
Applying for a Braille card means that the customer will be provided with a secondary card in addition to the existing one. This card provides all the information in Braille needed to make remote or online transactions (CVV, card number, expiry date, etc.).

From 28 June 2025, customers will be able to apply for these cards at our branches. All the information will be available on the Banco Sabadell official website >
